HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE

We can only do, as much as we can do, but from the health perspective we recommend practicing at least 3 times a week.

Over the time, most of practitioners should be trying to incorporate a daily practice.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MYSORE AND LED

Mysore Class offers so called ‘Personal practice in a group setting’ where each student is guided accordingly to their needs. It is the best and the most face way to begin your journey with yoga and especially with Ashtanga Yoga.

All Mysore classes (both mornings, evenings and on sundays) are friendly for beginners.

Led Class isa guided class where teacher calls out the sanskrit names and counts the breath. A prerequisite to join a led class is the knowledge of the sequence (learned in mysore class) and understanding of the sanskrit terminology, as the english explanations are kept to the minimum.

If you have practiced at Nilayam for a minimum of 2-3 months and you know the practice at least up to Janusirsasana A, you can join the led class.
